Bobbi Jean is a San Francisco based stylist and educator with over 16 years of experience. She trained with Bumble & Bumble University in New York City, as well as Goldwell Academy in Santa Monica, CA. Passionately dedicated to her craft, she understands the importance of helping clients feeling refreshed and stylish.
Specializing in modern coloring techniques, such as balayage, precision cutting, and bridal updos, she is well versed in a variety of salon offerings. Combined with her attention for detailed consultations and product recommendations, Bobbi consistently exceeds her clients needs.

Native to Taos, I am a 2009 graduate of the NM Aveda Institute in Albuquerque NM. My career began in Seattle WA where I also completed the Washington State Apprenticeship program for Esthetician and Cosmetology. After starting my family I returned to Taos and have been Creating at Salon Marjorie since 2009. I am a mother to 2 amazing boys. When I am not practicing behind the chair I enjoy the outdoors. Camping, hiking and kayaking down the river. I also love serving my community as a birth Doula and Postpartum care practitioner.
I love working with long hair. Cutting and coloring that goes along with your natural flow is where I love to be. I also love working with men’s hair as well, creating custom looks and pampering that one can’t get in the average barbershop.

Stylist, salon owner, artist, and mother. Born in Vermont and proudly rooted in Taos since 1992. I spent eight years immersed in the French haircutting method with Carsten in Phoenix before trading desert heat for powder days—I came to Taos to ski and never left. Skiing still feeds my soul. As a sculptor and artist, I bring creativity and intuition to every cut and color. I’m passionate about learning, evolving, and making bold transformations when the time is right. My work blends current fashion with timeless classics, always aiming to help my clients feel confident, radiant, and like the best version of themselves.

I am a hair artist working with Salon Marjorie and her lovely team over in the historic district of Taos. I love creating beautiful hair using non-toxic holistic products and creating a nurturing atmosphere that leaves you refreshed and rejuvenated. Proud to say that Taos is the community I have served for over a decade! I specialize in dimensional color using both foiling and balayage techniques with custom-blended natural color. I love grey blending as well as full coverage for grey hair while still adding dimension and shine. My haircutting background began with Vidal Sassoon over 20 years ago and in the last several years I have begun to incorporate razor-cutting techniques and I just love having all the rooks at my disposal.

Born and raised in Taos, I studied Aesthetics at The Aveda Institute of New Mexico and have been helping clients feel radiant in their skin for over 8 years. My approach is rooted in holistic wellness, blending Ayurvedic principles with organic skincare. I specialize in Éminence Organic Skin Care and have recently incorporated advanced Hungarian techniques—including Lymphatic Drainage Massage and facial sculpting—for deeper rejuvenation and visible results. I love staying current through continuing education and always bring new knowledge into the treatment room. Five years ago, I moved to Taos for the deep blue skies and fresh mountain air. It was a good change after 38 years in New York City raising my family and working in financial technology on Wall Street for large corporations like IBM, Dow Jones & Company, Citibank, and Standard & Poor’s. But despite the relaxing scenery and a busy social life, I found I wasn’t done with working. I needed a little more of being out in the world. I am grateful to Marjorie and her staff for taking a chance on a mature woman who had absolutely zero experience working in a salon. I’m your Saturday receptionist at Salon Marjorie, and it has been a pleasure to get to know each and every one of our friendly and fascinating clients.
