Marjorie Olsen opened her salon in 1996 and built the salon’s reputation by teaching her staff the French haircutting techniques from Jacques Dessange/Paris that she studied when she worked with Carsten Wilms of Carsten Institute in Phoenix, AZ for 8 years.

She received the “Best of Taos” award and has continually been voted number one every year. Education is an important part of developing new techniques which keeps Marjorie inspired and committed to helping her clients and staff to continually grow.

Marjorie’s photography (images used on website and for advertising) is just one of the many artistic endeavors she enjoys among fine art painting, amateur cooking, and carving a line down the slopes of the magical mountain of Taos NM. Marjorie is passionately enjoying and living the dream.
